Just to let you know...

Mood: Excited! heeheehee...
Song: "Famous Last Words" by My Chemical Romance

If you see me and I start squealing something about "Marlie and Sirius!," "FINALLY," or I start giggling, please ignore me. I just finished reading what is now posted of Slytherin Rising 4: Year of the Cat, and the ending was very squeal-ful. Even if there really wasn't anything major that had to do with Snape going on, it was lovely.
~*~*Oh, and Snape wanted to say something about his girly patronus...
"MY PATRONUS IS NOT GIRLY!"
"Sure it isn't, Sevi."
"My. Name. Isn't. SEVI!"
-This has been a moment with Sevi-
(Taylor understands my pain of spending waaayyy too much time on the computer. And I've been reading fanfiction the entire time. Quite scary. C;)

My New Obsession...

So, as you can see, I haven't been blogging very much but there is a very good reason why. 2 words...

Harry Potter.

As you know, unless you live under a rock, the 7th book came out on the 21st of July and of course, I was obsessing right away. Anyone who was on vacation with me that week knows that on the day that I was on the last leg of the book, I was on my bed all day reading and telling everyone to shut up if they talked to me. I'm not saying any spoilers yet (even though you have probably plenty of time to read it... but I'm doing this so that no ones murders me for ruining the story for them) but I think it was one of the best Harry Potter books yet. My favorite is still the 3rd one but the 7th one was a definite tear jearker.

But now on to a new but related subject, my new obsession.

Harry Potter fan fiction.

OMG

After reading the last Harry Potter book, I felt horrible for a certain prince who just so you know, is my favorite character, and felt no closure what-so-ever so I started my search for a better, for Snape and for my heart, ending to the series. I eventually came across harrypotterfanfiction.com and became officially obsessed. I found stories about how Snape's life SHOULD have gone and much much more. Very coolio. I even started to write some stories of my own but only have up one chapter of one story so more on that later.

Now on to the biggest part of my new obsession.

Slytherin Rising.

Anyone who was over at my house on Friday night knows that I am an official Slytherin and proud of it and so automatically, I started in my search of a fan fic that gave Slyths justice. This is where a certain quiz (found here) came into play.

After being told by this quiz what house you belong in, it tells you more about that house (i.e. good points, bad points). When telling me about the good points of Slytherin house, it stated that "Slytherin Rising (the fan fic) makes Slyths look good." Of course, Taylor McDoogal could see what was going to happen right away. In fact, it was probably a good thing that the internet stopped working and we had to go to bed (not that you had anything to do with that I suppose, Taylor...) because if it hadn't, I would have stayed up until I found out what this Slytherin Rising thing was and read it too.

So of course, the next day, I was determained (my inner Slyth coming out in me) to find out what this was and why I hadn't found out about it yet. Of course, not knowing that I was doomed for all eternity to read the entire series.

Which I found later is 8 books long and still a work in progress.

Ug.

But that didn't stop me from reading the first book in one day

Now, the moral of this story is...

Don't let Rebekah find out about a collection of stories that is expanding everyday and will take up most of her time.

This is a warning to all friends and family, you will not be seeing for a while and I will be writing/reading obsessively.

Thank you for your time.
